Our Heritage
The Story So Far
The Beginning
The Ouan family purchased the land that would become Ouan's Farm Resort — then just a small farm with a handful of fruit trees and a dream. What began as a weekend escape for family and friends slowly grew into something more.
First Guests
Word spread about the quiet, green oasis just outside Lucena. The family opened their gates to paying guests, starting with a single cottage and home-cooked meals served under the mango trees.
The Pool Arrives
The addition of the swimming pool marked a turning point. Families discovered Ouan's as a weekend destination — not just for the farm experience but for the simple joy of a cool dip surrounded by coconut palms and rice fields.
Lucita's Restaurant
Named after the family matriarch, Lucita's Restaurant opened with a mission: serve honest Filipino food made from farm-fresh ingredients. The mushroom dishes — grown right on the property — became an instant signature.
Garden Pavilion
A dedicated event space transformed Ouan's into a sought-after wedding and celebration venue. The Garden Pavilion, with its open-air design and panoramic views, quickly became the most-photographed spot on the property.
Today
After 38 years, Ouan's Farm Resort remains exactly what it set out to be: a family-run farm where guests become friends, meals are shared, and the city fades away. No pretense. No five-star fuss. Just good food, warm people, and where time slows down.

Grounded in Place
Everything at Ouan's comes from the ground up. The mushrooms in your pasta were grown 200 meters from your table. The shade you're sitting under was planted before most of our guests were born. We don't build around nature — we build with it.
